Welcome to the GSE UK Network Management Working Group

The network is an important piece of the z system, and can influence the usability and availability of the entire platform. Knowing what’s occurring on the network connecting the z system to the outside world remains a critical requirement.

This working group’s objectives include:

• Providing updates on the latest networking components from IBM
• Promoting best practice in network management
• Providing general updates on solutions that assist in network management

We currently meet once a year at the GSE UK annual conference in November.

We encourage members to participate in group meetings and to present their own experiences in the network area. We also look to members to suggest topics they would like covered at the annual conference or in additional meetings.
