Abstract:

This talk is aimed at WebSphere MQ administrators, and shows how to set up and administer the resources needed by JMS applications. The relationship between some of the important JMS properties and WMQ properties is discussed, and the presentation contains a demonstration of the tools used to administer the JMS resources.

Paul Titheridge has worked in the WebSphere MQ Level 3 organisation for the past six years, supporting customers who use the Java and Java Message Service functionality provided by WebSphere MQ. He has extensive knowledge of how WebSphere MQ interfaces with WebSphere Application Server, and has written a number of technical papers on this topic.
