"Be Recognized"
Session Speaker: Kevin Baker (BMC)Session Chairman: Derek StorkeyWhen: Tuesday 28th October @ 10:45Where: Kenilworth 2 |
Do you run REORGS on a fixed schedule or when certain statistics thresholds are reached? Are they actually helping your applications? This session will explore techniques for correlating real I/O performance to the need for pageset reorganizations. There are potentially savings to be had if REORGS are only done when needed, which might be much less than you think.
