Abstract:

There will be available for attendee the use seven Hands-on labs :- CICS Configuration Manager CICS Performance Analyzer CICS Interdependency Analyzer CICS VSAM Transparency CICS VSAM Recovery CICS Business Application Control and IBM Session Manager Attendees will be able to select the tools of interest to them. Each lab is independent of each other. Each lab should take around 20 - 25 mins.

Paul has worked in System z CICS Technical Support teams at various companies ( not just IBM ) since 1990. gaining a large amount of experience in installing, customizing and rolling out base CICS and associated software tooling. Paul joined IBM in Jan 1998, working in their Outsourcing division and in Sept 2002 moved into their Software Group. Prior to joining IBM, Paul has worked for Freemans Mail Order ( Headingley ), Co-operative Wholesale Society and ICI C+FC ( Manchester ).
