In her 30+ years with IBM, Ms. Adams has held a variety of technical, marketing, staff and management positions. She has the distinction of having worked with every hardware product line announced since she joined the company in 1976 as a Systems Engineer, from the very small (5110 & s/32) to the very large (Series z9). Her assignments have included Distributed and Large System Sales, Customer Center Manager, HQ Competitive Marketing Staff, IBM Marketing Training Instructor, and Software Development Manager. In her current WW Software Sales position, her main focus is helping Customers and IBMers understand zSeries software pricing/licensing options. She spends much of her time "on the road" presenting at Customer Briefings, IBM Conferences and User Groups like SHARE and GSE. Most of the time she is also the infamous SCRT@us.ibm.com response line. When not traveling, Kay resides in Atlanta, Georgia, her hometown, with her husband of 30 years and a couple of very spoiled cats.
