GE: Communications Controller for Linux on System z9 (CCL) Update

Abstract:

Communications Controller for Linux on System z9 (CCL) is the software replacement for the 37XX hardware products. In 2010 the 37XX products go out of support with IBM so if you still require your SNI Business Partner links and other vital BNN links to your 37XX after 2010 then you should start looking at CCL as the replacement. This session will provide the latest up-to-date news on the CCL product. The session will also feature short presentations by customers who have recently migrated to CCL on their CCL experiences.

Peter is a Consulting IT Specialist for IBM UK. He has worked with IBM mainframe products and systems for over 25 years, and is currently responsible for managing customer Beta programs in Europe for z/OS Communications Server and related IBM products. Peter is also the IBM representative for the GSE UK Networking group.
