Abstract:

An introduction to the new Distributed Publish/Subscribe facilities available in WebSphere MQ v7 to allow publish/subscribe applications to be distributed across multiple queue managers. Describing the usage, configuration and administration of Publish/Subscriber Cluster and Hierarchies, Also a quick look at migrating from existing hierarchies using publish/subscribe with WebSphere MQ v6.

Adrian joined IBM in 2000 with the Hursley development labs working as a developer in a number of projects around the lab including WebSphere Application Server components and also working with Apache open source community. He became a part of the WebSphere MQ development team during 2006 primarily focusing on the areas of Distributed Publish/Subscribe and Queued Publish/Subscribe.
