Abstract:

This high level presentation gives an overview of how to write and deploy JMS applications into WebSphere Application Server to get messages from WebSphere MQ queues. It also covers the configuration needed on both products, and finishes with a demo showing this in action.

Paul Titheridge has worked in the WebSphere MQ Level 3 organisation for the past six years, supporting customers who use the Java and Java Message Service functionality provided by WebSphere MQ. He has extensive knowledge of how WebSphere MQ interfaces with WebSphere Application Server, and has written a number of technical papers on this topic.
