Abstract:

WebSphere MQ v7 shipped with a new publish/subscribe (pub/sub) engine. This session will briefly outline the concept of pub/sub before providing an overview of how applications can make use of it and how it can be configured and monitored.

Jon Levell is an MQ developer at IBM's Hursley Park Laboratory. He recently worked on the code that emulates MQ's old pub/sub engine using the shiny new one.
