DK: Where does RACF administration end and Identity Management begin?

Abstract:

With the increasing integration of mainframe systems into composite applications involving multiple platforms and multiple identities, will your current RACF administration mechanisms integrate as well? Alternatively, if you're thinking of deploying an enterprise-wide Identity Management solution, how far should you let it reach into your RACF (or ACF2) definitions?

Geoff is a Senior IT Specialist in the IBM Software Group focussing on System z software. Geoff joined IBM in 1984, and has worked in a wide variety of positions most of them inextricably linked with IBM's mainframe platform, and security in particular. These roles have included software defect support, product test, product introduction management, technical pre-sales and technical account management.
