DJ: Introduction to Mainframe Security

Abstract:

The objective of this session is to give a basis overview of what RACF is; what it's major componets are and how it would be typically deployed in a zOS environment.

Mark Wilson is a technical consultant and architect. Mark spends the majority of time working for many organisations, including IBM and its business partners, performing pre & post sales and technical consultancy. Mark's IT career began over 25 years ago, when he joined GKN as an operator. By the mid-1980s he had advanced into a technical support role with Land Rover Parts. This was followed by a hectic five years as a Systems Engineer with Synapse Computer Services, where Mark was exposed to a vast range of products and varied technical environments.
