Abstract:

In the second session if you use SDSF to interface with JES2, you will learn about the 5 General Resource Classes necessary to fully protect JES2 resources being accessed through SDSF and to control who can use the many SDSF facilities.

Art is a Senior Professional Services Consultant with Vanguard Integrity Professionals. In this capacity, he functions as a consultant, instructor, course developer, and software support engineer for Vanguard. Art has a total of over 40 years of information systems experience with over 20 years of that time in information security. Prior to joining Vanguard over 15 years ago, he worked in a variety of industries including government, transportation, banking, energy, and finance. He has experience in computer operations, application programming, and systems programming performing both technical and managerial duties in each of these disciplines. In the area of Information Security, Art has taught RACF Courses around the world including North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and South Africa. From a consulting standpoint, he has performed engagements worldwide including North America, Europe, and Asia. These consulting engagements have included RACF Security Assessments, RACF Security Remediation, and RACF Security Implementations. He has been the keynote speaker at many RACF User Group meetings, ISSA meetings, CMG conferences, and other professional meetings in North America, Europe, and Asia. He was a presenter at the GSE conference in 2006
