DD: RACF Database Unload

Abstract:

RACF database unload will be a general discussion of what the unload actually consists of, how it can be manipulated, some of the pitfalls to be aware of, and some useful observations relating to the content of the unloaded data. It will also touch on a small cross section of the PC Utilities freely available for generating reports from it.

Nigel comes from a mechanical engineering background, and first started working with RACF in 1995. Most of his direct experience comes from working with National Australia Group, whose subsidiaries include Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank. Prior to moving into a security role and working with RACF, Nigel held roles, both as a Research Analyst, and in PC Technical Support, which explains his continuing affinity for PC tools. Nigel has been active in the RACF community, including publishing an article in Xephon's RACF Update, and regular contributions to racf-l. In addition there have been several articles in Xephon's RACF Update, which have been written about his PC utilities, which are freely distributed from www.racf.co.uk
