Abstract:

This presentation will help the customers that monitor IMS spot clues to solve response time problems, use forensic monitoring to answer questions about their applications and IMS systems, follow the footprints of a transaction through IMS, and get snapshots of all their data to view in real time and history.

Nick Griffin has over 32 years of mainframe experience in Development, Systems and Database Administration for IMS, MVS and CICS/VSAM applications. Nick has been developed IMS Monitoring code and managed a development group for a software vendor. Nick has managed large, complex, mission critical IMS database applications for a variety of Fortune 500 companies.

Nick is currently Product Manager for Mainframe IMS at BMC Software managing Database Performance, System Performance, System Administration and Backup & Recovery Solutions.
