Abstract:

This session discusses IBM CICS Transaction Server and its new wide range of capabilities. The following three areas will be covered in depth: Business Flexibility, IT Simplification and Governance and Compliance.

I have 14 years of industry experience, working for IBM for 13 of those years. My career is primarily focused on software development, ranging from bespoke engagements to product development such as CICS Transaction Server for zOS. During my career, I developed and delivered middleware based software on a variety of platforms and technologies, including zOS. My current role is the delivery manager for Application Enablement & Java in CICS Transaction Server for zOS
